SKILLS FOR LIFE

Our interactive youth programs are specifically designed to ensure the learning and retention of necessary life skills to aid in each youths personal growth. It is an excellent approach with the horses being the teacher as the horse has "loud teachable moments" that they never forget. This gives the youths an experience to pull from when they are faced with choices in everyday life as they build strong solid skills working with their teacher.

RESEARCH & MEDIA

Our youth curriculum programs range between 8 — 15 sessions. This allows our facilitators to not only ensure the effectiveness of the course but also to track the advancements in each of the youth within it. All skills learned in the arena are paralleled back to their everyday lives, ensuring that the learned skills are transferred to how they deal with people, choices and the world around them. There is NO riding the teachers in any of these programs.

Horses are an ideal educational tool for use with children. Teach a child the basics of dealing properly with a horse and they will become the leader the horse seeks. When the horse feels safe and at peace with the person, cooperation is unbelievable and the child can easily get the horse to do what is asked of it. Incorporating the 7 teachings to achieve this connection makes the experience one of a kind.
