HORSE RIDING LESSONS
Come and join us at the Horseshoe Connection for beginner horseback riding lessons! We offer a fun and educational experience for anyone from the age of 5, to the young at heart.
If you wish to ride alone, we can do that! Looking for a family experience? We can do that too! Your group, or organization are looking for lessons... Anything is possible! All of our activities are in an outdoor riding arena, surrounded by beautiful open fields. Our 8 beautiful horses range from miniature horses for the youngsters, to the larger quarter horse. It is a relaxing, friendly and yet invigorating experience!!!

Our facility is operated through experience. We have a combined experience of 33 years of horsemanship from mini ponies, to barrel racing, cutting and penning. Our head coach and owner, Joyce Gardner, has 20 plus years experience in several disciplines. Maegan Gardner, owner and manager, holds accreditation as an Early Childhood Educator, Police Foundation Graduate, is finishing off her social worker degree and has 11 years of horse experience. Tori Gardner has accreditation in Business and 11 years experience riding and running barrels in Alberta. Tori is also our animal health consultant.

In the beginning, for your safety reasons, we choose your horse for you. As you progress you will be matched with a horse that will be suited to your experience level and capabilities. Generally there will be 2-4 riders per class, however numbers may vary slightly. We also offer individual lessons. These all range from 1-2 hours.
**Riders must wear boots with heels and all riders 17 and under MUST wear a helmet.
